Day 30: Intercom, Afternoon
The intercom's jingle rang through the halls, followed by an announcement far shorter than the Head Doctor's usual rambling.
"Head Nurse Lydia again, signaling the end of this shift," said the now-familiar female voice on the speakers lining the halls. "Children and adults will switch at this time; children should be escorted to their respective showers while adults should be taken to the Sun Room and adjoining activity rooms. Same rules apply as the previous shift: well-behaved adults may visit any and all activity rooms, but patients who participated in the riot are restrained to the Sun Room only.
"I continue to apologize for Dr. Landel's extended absence. He should be back shortly."
