It was only halfway that Albel decided that, perhaps, he should go upstairs. He still needed to find some metal for his weapon order, so he might as well stop walking around and do that instead. There was a better chance at finding something useful upstairs instead of the floor he was in now, so he quickly approached the nearest staircase.
Gazing up, he didn't see any particular maggots lingering in this stairwell, nor any rotting scum that were supposed to be stopping them. Though the Elicoorian lived for battle, he wasn't about to waste his time with crushing worms when he had something better to do.
