Phibrizzo gingerly opened his eyes, momentarily confused. What was going on? It was so bright and white, blindingly so. He remembered being in his room, talking with his room mate then...then someone came in and...
"Brandon, wake up~" he heard in an almost songlike manner from a female voice. He quickly returned to consciousness and discovered his lack of mobility.
He struggled with his bonds as he tried to make sense of the situation. He had been in his room, someone had shown up, he was here now...
"Where am I?" He asked, color slightly dropping from his face. He didn't know what was going on, but he knew he couldn't be good.
They always tried to struggle. Just once, she'd like to see someone strong enough to break the bonds she made. It would certainly make things interesting. The color drained from her little patient's face and she grinned devilishly as she leaned over him, letting a few loose strands of golden hair drape down to hide her face.
"Good evening, Brandon," she said. Her voice was free of venom, but there was something sinister in it still. "Or rather, should I be addressing you as you were formerly known? Hellmaster Phibrizzo, was it? Such a shame, the failing to destroy the world and all. Still feeling those nasty little desires?"
She laughed and pulled back, checking the restraints around his head and body to be sure he wouldn't get away. Even if it would make things more interesting, she was ready to begin and she didn't want to kill him after all. Picking up a cotton swab with tongs and dousing it in iodine, she leaned over him again and whispered, "We're going to play a game, Brandon. Isn't that exciting?"
If Hellmaster had any color leave in his cheeks, it quickly drained away to nothing as his "doctor" revealed her long blond hair and referenced, quite casually, his previous life and death.
Lord of Dreams that Terrify; The One Who Shines Like Gold upon the Sea of Chaos; The Golden Lord....
"...m-mother?" He squeaked out, eyes wide. This wasn't going to be good. In fact, it was going to be downright horrible.
She laughed and pulled his hair back, securing it with a clip before touching the freezing cold iodine to his temples. "Is that who you think I am?"
Rubbing the antiseptic in slow circles, she prepped the area for what was to come and smiled down at him. She had read his file, knew the life he claimed to have and the one he really did have. "Don't worry, Brandon. I'm far more interested in what's in here-" She tapped his temple with the iodine swab again. "Than whatever it was you had happen before you came here. In fact, the idea of beings made of energy is something of a novel idea for us here. Although, you have one serious flaw."
Putting the swab down, she reached over her hand hovering out of his sight for a moment before it came back into view, holding a short needle filled with a clear fluid. "A very serious flaw, you see. I aim to correct it."
