Seeing no reason to stall, William was quick to follow Wesker up the stairs. He didn't bother asking why Wesker was waiting for him because the answer was fairly obvious--and William wasn't going to deny he wasn't predictable when it came to his experiments.
Only one person waiting here, it seemed. Well. Time to start asking, then. Stepping out of the shadows smoothly, Farfarello cleared his throat to get the woman's attention. He didn't say anything right away, giving her a moment to take in his rather... singular appearance.
Farfarello looked like a rough and dangerous sort on the best of occasions, what with the facial scars and eye patch, but tonight he looked even more like a thug than usual. He was all over bruised, with a shallow cut on his forehead and a broken cheekbone adding to the impression of violence both done and impending.
Both of Farfarello's hands and wrists were wrapped with cloth strips, not to cover injuries but to give his knuckles and wrists some minor protection and support; the wrappings ended just below the middle knuckles of the fingers on his right hand but continued right to the tips of the fingers on his left hand, where they anchored a set of three inch-long claws to the pads of his index, middle and ring fingers. He was barefoot but with his feet and ankles being wrapped in a similar manner, much like a kickboxer's would be.
Giving the older woman a flat look, his one hazel eye showing no emotion whatsoever, Farfarello asked, "You Thursday Next or MOMO?" He had a slight but noticeable Irish accent, that of an expat who hasn't been around other Irish people for a while.

The man who'd turned up was rather startling in appearance, to say the least. Emma's comment about football hooligans came, rather ridiculously, to mind, and Thursday nearly went for her baseball bat before he spoke. So this was one of her team members for tonight? Well, she thought wryly, at least he looked like he could take care of himself.
She nodded at him. "I'm Thursday. I take it you're Farfarello, then?" The name was familiar, but he definitely didn't look like any of the BookWorlders she'd met.

"There was a girl waiting a little farther back down the hall. Might be MOMO, might not. Probably worth checking." If she was their other teammate, the group was starting to sound like a bad joke. So an Englishwoman, and Irishman, and a little girl walk into a pub...

There were two people waiting here, it looked like. MOMO knew that didn't mean they were the ones she was supposed to meet but, as she approached to question them, she couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief when she heard the male say her name.
Then again, she had met Momo so she knew she wasn't the only one with that name here. But she recalled the other girl mentioning that most called her Hinamori-san, so they wouldn't have to worry about any mix-ups between the two of them. Besides, what were the chances that Momo would have arranged to meet someone in the same stairwell?
"Um... I'm MOMO," the Prototype spoke quietly, giving a brief wave. "You two are Farfarello and Thursday Next, right?"

Thursday was about to agree with Farfarello's suggestion when a young girl who couldn't have been past her teens showed up. They really did have a lot of kids here, didn't they? Still, Thursday knew better than to underestimate the patients in this place. "Yeah, I'm Thursday. Glad you could make it, MOMO."

Hopefully one or both of his teammates were stronger than they looked, too, because no way was he taking the lead in any fights they came upon--he had to be careful of his ribs or they'd re-break, and another night with a punctured lung was not something he had any interest in.

"We're supposed to go up there, aren't we?" she asked, motioning to the stairs. MOMO wasn't sure of the exact location, but she did remember seeing 'second floor' written with the team assignments. Farfarello had mentioned a map though, so hopefully that meant he or Thursday had one with them.

"Apparently we're supposed to pick up whatever we can find there. From what I've heard, it contains stuff belonging to our lives outside of this building, but I've never been there myself. Have either of you?"

Pointing to an area on the map just down the hall from the patient possessions room, Farfarello noted, "This is where there are some storage closets that have some pretty useful stuff, too, according to my partners." Schuldig had said that was where he and Crawford got their metal pipes, as well as the box cutter that they'd given Farfarello. There'd been other stuff, apparently, but they'd only taken what they could carry. "Might stop in there on our way back, if we have time."

"In any case, we should be careful. The monsters can appear from anywhere and it's really... difficult to maneuver when you're in small areas like that."

She took one last look at the map before she folded it neatly and put it away. "Well, then. Shall we be going?"
