Naoya was quick to gather his supplies as the voice on the intercom spoke, both calming and reassuring--but frightening all the same. After making sure he had everything he needed (which turned out to only be a flashlight), Naoya then quickly slipped into the hall and shined his light in both directions. Just to make sure nothing was there, he didn ( Read more... )

SubZero left his radio behind, not wanting it to go off while he was trying to sneak around. Not that sneaking was much of an option with HK, but the other assassin was useful enough to take around with him, and he hadn't made any plans with Arlene for the night. She was too injured to be useful, anyway.

He found that he was the first one in the hallway, aside from his roommate SubZero stalked over to HK's door and knocked on it to get the assassin machine to hurry up.

"Query: What?! ...Statement: Oh. You." HK stepped out the door, flipping a scalpel between his fingers. "Query: Any brilliant plans for tonight's scenic tour of the facility, meatbag?" See the hallways, meet interestingly deformed monstrosities, slice them to death with a medical knife. HK thought that would make a good tagline for a tourist's pamphlet.

"We're heading to the kitchen," SubZero said, not at all pleased with HK's greeting. They had been getting along so well a couple nights ago, watching Riddick attempt to beat someone.

HK was probably unhappy with him again, though SubZero wasn't entirely sure why, it wasn't like he had done anything to make him upset. Not recently, anyway.

"Statement: Very well. Lead on, meatbag." HK didn't have too much of a reason to be angry with SubZero, but he'd only harassed one meatbag today. That didn't fill his quotas.

But he certainly wasn't going to tell the meatbag he was sorry for being irritable.

SubZero didn't bother to say anything else to HK, instead turning and sneaking off towards their destination.
