The conversation he'd had with Eddie had been interesting, and he wasn't sure how else to describe it. It was obvious that the symbiote had changed the man a lot, and in different ways than it had changed him. It worried him to an extent, until he realized that it wasn't really his business. Except that it was, because Eddie wouldn't have ended up stuck with that thing if it hadn't been for him.
Did that mean he had to try and fix it somehow? He knew the symbiote's weakness, so maybe he could get it to ditch Eddie the same way it had ditched him. Then again, it might just move right back into his body, and he definitely didn't want that.
Eddie certainly seemed happy with it, and that was what disturbed him the most. It didn't seem like he had the self-realization to understand what was happening to him, and Peter made a face as he wondered what sort of horrible things the man had done under the symbiote's influence.
There was nothing he could do about it now, though, so he decided he would take solace in the library. It was the quintessential way to calm down, after all. After some browsing, Peter picked out Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes and sat down with it. He had never read it before, and it seemed like he should.
