When Kyon entered the Arts and Crafts room, he was not only feeling physically fatigued, but mentally as well. The last few shifts had not gone well at all. Kyon had spent the better part of the last shift staring at his food, wondering what the hell he was going to do about the coming night. Aidou's intentions had to be anything but good, and he'd

She had managed to cut out a couple pieces and had started on another when someone called her name, which caused her to pause and look up. As soon as she saw who it was, however, she couldn't help but smile.
"Hi, Sora!" she greeted him as he hurried over. It was nice to see someone she knew. "How have you been?"

"I've been good!" he responded quickly, looking over her work as he spoke. He wasn't entirely sure what she was trying to make, but he had never being very good at the arts and crafts thing as a kid. Kairi was, though -- he wondered if she had ever tried to bead together a necklace in this place. Did they even have the materials for that?
"How about you?" he asked, leaning forward in his seat eagerly. While she seemed better, he knew that some people were good at hiding what they were really going through. "Doing better since last time we talked?" He could only hope that she had realized that all of that hadn't been her fault.

He was glad that he had been there to help MOMO, and that some other patients had contributed as well, by the sound of it. He didn't really recognize the names, but he assumed they belonged to some of the others who had gotten caught up in that fight.
Sora knew better than to dwell on such a heavy subject for too long, especially since it seemed like MOMO had gotten through it. So, with that out of the way, he once again took note of the fabric she was attempting to cut. "What are you trying to make?" he asked, leaning forward in his seat to get a better look.

"Oh, it's supposed to be a stuffed animal once it's finished." Come to think of it, did this place have something to actually... stuff a stuffed animal with? Well, even if they didn't, she'd think of something once she got that far. "I know it's kind of silly, but I have one like it back home. And it'd be kind of nice to have a familiar face around." Even if it was a face that couldn't talk. Or, as was the case with U-kun, shoot lasers from its eyes.
"Are you going to try and make anything, Sora?" she asked, canting her head slightly. They were in the Arts and Crafts room, after all.

As MOMO continued to explain the rabbit's name and its darker side, Sora imagined his expression was becoming even more shocked. No wonder they hadn't let her keep it! That sounded pretty dangerous, though lasers might just be helpful in a place like this. How much damage could they do?
"Wow, that's... pretty impressive," he said once he finished. "Does... he just shoot lasers at whoever he wants, or does someone having to control it?" It all sounded kind of scary, to be honest. A stuffed animal like that probably belonged in Halloween Town. If he ever saw Jack again, he would have to tell him about it.

"Actually, the lasers really come in handy. I used to have an attack that could summon a giant version of him, and he'd shoot lasers at our enemies. It was... It was actually kind of cute!" Even though she didn't particularly enjoy fighting, that was one attack she almost missed.
"Isn't there anything like that where you're from?" the realian asked after a short pause. "Something that can look harmless, but be really helpful when need be?"

He didn't really know if something like that could be cute, but maybe it would be for girls? He wondered what Kairi would have thought of all this. Maybe he would tell her about it when he saw her tonight, if he got the chance.
At the question, Sora leaned back in his seat and thought it over. Other than Stitch... "Well, I guess there's Donald," he said, laughing to himself. He was glad his friend wasn't there to hit him over the head with his staff.
