"I feel like I could I could stay here and browse all day," Obi-Wan said after a moment. "Too bad our trip only lasts so long."
He set down the pack of batteries and glanced around. Once he noticed some portable disc players on display, he made his way over and
studied them carefully. "But you know, I think I saw models just like these back at the institute. Somehow, I'm not surprised."
And it was true. If they couldn't (or wouldn't) take things from this shop, there were certainly other options for them back at Landel's. Actually, he'd been meaning to take some of these things from the music room, but it had only been for the purpose of tearing them apart and analyzing them. If Qui-Gon had specifically thought to look in here, it was very possibly he had a more specific plan in mind.
Obi-Wan had to admit he was curious to know what his friend was thinking, though he was starting to get a few ideas.

"Then I think we're in luck," Qui-Gon said quietly to Obi-wan. He would have to fill him in on the details once they had a bit more privacy, but for now they could look at what they could and see if any of it looked remotely familiar. It'd be easier if they could actually take a peek at the insides, but that would probably have to wait until they were back in Landels, seeing as Obi-Wan knew of a room with these Earthian electronics.
