[From hereMoving deeper into Doyleton, Qui-Gon studied the signs, which, while crude, served their purpose. There appeared to be a bookstore nearby, which would be definitely helpful studying up on this planet and their practices. He was about to suggest they go inside when he paused, spotting the four-legged resident of a corral. Curious, the Jedi Master moved closer, taking in this creature: it had hooves and looked like some kind of beast of burden from the long face and soulful eyes, a shaggy mane drapped over one side as it grazed

Obi-Wan had jotted down a few more notes into his journal once they decided to leave the inn. Hopefully he could gather as much information as he could so he could sort though it later in hopes of finding something useful. Then again, if they were ever going to escape from the building in the future, everything here was probably relevant somehow. He hoped so, anyway

"Possibly," Qui-Gon said after a moment. He debated trying to communicate with the creature, but there was a good chance that he might not even speak its language. Just because he could mysteriously speak the Earthian one didn't mean it extended all the way to this being. "Let's go find the owner of this establishment and see what we can learn

Bast glanced up from his trying to get the horse to come to him when Qui-Gon and Obi arrived. "It's a horse!" he said, lowering his voice quickly when he realized they weren't paying any attention to him.
While it would have riled his anger had it been anyone else, Rabastan liked his roomie. Qui-Gon had something about him that calmed Rabastan down or at least his madness. Giving the two a little wave to let them talk quietly, Rabastan spotted Severus and grinned.
"Severus!"
((Dropping down to go bother Severus so the Jedi can go unbothered))
Severus glanced around the Pet Supply store, hoping to see Harry. The boy wasn't here, however. He'd probably gone down to the bookstore.
There were two other young men here and...
He froze as he noticed Rabastan. Blasted Merlin, just his luck. He eased back out towards the front of the shop, hoping that the man had not seen him. Of course, it would be just his if he did. Then what would Severus do? He needed to get to Harry, but Lestrange would most likely follow him if he was noticed.
Wouldn't Murphy's Law be in full effect and earn the poor Potions Master the attention of the one person he didn't want? Somedays, it just didn't pay to crawl out of the crypt.
"Severus! Did you see the horse? I think it's deaf."
Said horse merely kept munching on its hay and ignoring all and sundry. Probably a good thing in Bast's case. No one really needed to know if a crazy wizard could ride down mainstreet.
"What are you up to today, Severus? Did you see Harry Potter? He was awfully concerned about you and said you were dead."
Bast's lower lip trembled again, a hurt look on his face.
"He yelled at me a lot," he muttered, looking at the ground and twisting his fingers together. "He was mean when I was just trying to help him with some chocolate. He said the Dark Lord is dead too."
So Harry and Rabastan had crossed paths. Severus sighed inwardly, the only outward clue to his rising headache was him pinching the bridge of his nose. He looked at the man before him with something akin to pity, and a touch of disgust

Robin wandered into the shop from the street outside. Being the prepared sort of chap that he was, he tucked his dungaree legs into his boots and made a good count of his pockets. Five in all, the biggest being on the chest of the strange blue outer-Long Johns

There was no mystery in Anthy's running in to the pet supply shop on her wanderings. She'd shared her late breakfast with some birds (they were staring at her wistfully; she couldn't help tossing them a few crumbs!) so wasn't all too hungry, her nails didn't seem to need any work (besides that, she wasn't very chatty and didn't care at all for the overwhelming smell of chemicals that permeated beauty shops) and wasn't entirely comfortable with the idea of getting a massage. Certainly she was not inexperienced with being touched by strangers, in so many ways, but in her newfound liberty, she found the concept, even in such an innocent circumstance, to be discomforting
