Day 28: Intercom, Dawn
The Head Doctor's voice came on loud and clear in the early morning, full of what seemed to be true excitement and expectation, a far cry from the monotonous routine he usually gave.
"Good morning, good morning, everyone! As most of you might know, today is going to be a day of brand new activities and innumerable possibilities! Of course, all of this fun will be overseen by nurses and orderlies, and everyone had better stay inside their assigned areas or there will be definite consequences!"
He paused, thinking for a moment. After a happy sigh, he continued:
"Now, if our staff would please escort the patients to the buses waiting for them just inside the outer gates in front of the Institute? Also make sure to bring the packed breakfasts and distribute them to everyone; each bag includes an apple juice box, a big, fresh blueberry muffin, and some napkins. Not really up to our cafeteria standards, but if you're still hungry, you'll find plenty of food to eat in town!
"Now, onwards! I'll be boarding and riding in one of the buses myself, but which bus will be a mystery until I sit down in one! Oh-ho! Hope to see you all in town!"
