Nearly as soon as the doors unlocked, Yohji pulled out the pack of cigarettes and the matches. Ignoring his roommate and any protests he might have, the assassin placed one of them between his lips and lit it up with practiced motions. He took a drag on it and closed his eyes, almost in bliss, before releasing the smoke and letting it drift to the

He was honestly going to go get drunk in a place like this. It didn't really strike him until he was outside Yohji's door. He couldn't even pretend it had something to do with getting out or forging alliances or even pilfering some some alcohol for weapons. He was pretty sure he could ask easily while they were sober without the assassin batting an eyelash at him.
He just wanted to loosen up for a while. Did that mean this place was really getting to him, little by little, making him compliant? Cliff didn't know. He wasn't really in a fighting mood right now, that was for sure.
Who've I been kidding? I'm no soldier. When it comes down to it, I'm just another guy.
He didn't know why he was smiling either. He knocked the door before opening it, conscious of the fact that Yohji would have a roommate too. "Hey, are you decent in there?"

He lay back on his bed until his heard a knock on the door and Cliff's familiar voice calling out. "Come in!" he replied, grinning slightly. At least it should be a relaxing night.

He moved further into the room and took a seat on Yohji's bed. Or his roommate's. He didn't really care which.
"Sorry, forgot the cookies." Cliff said, raising his hands in mock surrender. "I know, I know, it's tragic. We'll just have to make do, huh?"

"I guess we'll just have to go with the milk then," he replied laughingly and moved over so he could pull the bottle out from underneath the mattress. "Stolen from the dear doctors."

His grin turned challenging, slightly taunting. If there was anything Cliff couldn't resist, it was a contest. "Better pace yourself though, kid. It'd just be a waste of alcohol to try out-drinking me."

Yohji met Cliff's challenging grin with one of his own. "We'll see," he replied.

Cliff tilted the bottle back and took a swallow. The stuff was scorching, but it was damn good. "I'm no expert, but I don't think I could afford this with a year's pay. Guess the doctors do alright for themselves." He considered handing it back to Yohji, but he paused instead, teasing. "You really want it back?"

He looked at Cliff curiously when the man's tone changed, a playful smile curving his lips. "Hmmm... I think so. Wouldn't have stolen it if I didn't want to drink it."
Reply
"Yeah?" He leaned over to rest the bottle on the desk. "Then come and take it from me, kid."

He stretched langruously, grinning at the other man. "Well, if you put it like that..." And then he darted forwards.

The Klausian smirked. He put all his strength into throwing Yohji off him so he could pin the man back against the mattress. "Is that all you've got? Geez, I've had more trouble with a wet paper bag."
Reply
"I'm more of an ambush fighter normally," he explained. "Taking people by surprise..."

Fuck. It was like some bad romance novel.
Move.

He had so many reservations earlier, and right now it felt a lot like Yohji wasn't the one being taken advantage of. Maybe he'd just been lying to himself to keep out of this. It was his style to act first and ask questions later. What did he have to lose in this crazy place? It was just sex. By the time they got out, it'd be meaningless.
"I could teach you a thing or two, if you'll return the favour." Cliff moved his face closer to Yohji's, inviting instead of teasing. He wasn't holding the other man down so he couldn't push away if he wanted to. They weren't going back now. Cliff leaned in and kissed him.

He closed his eyes when Cliff's lips met his own, savouring the touch. After a moment, he kissed back, tongue flickering against CLiff's lips.
