"Goooood morning, patients!" The Head Doctor's voice said cheerily over the speakers across the Institute. He seemed to be in a particularly good mood, humming as he paged through the topics he had to cover in today's morning announcement. "How are you all on this fine day? Good? Good

In any case, something was terribly off.
His suspicions were only confirmed once he opened his eyes and stared up at something that certainly wasn't anywhere in the cave he fell asleep in. What he saw wasn't part of the cave within Pride Rock, which is what he should have been seeing, but something else altogether. Something blinding white, and as far as Scar knew there wasn't a single white cave on the entire Savannah.
Which brought him to the obvious conclusion he was somewhere else. But where? And even better, how?
But this wasn't everything. There was something else, something strangely related to his form. The odd position...
His bright, green eyes carefully looked down at the place he believed his paw would be, and couldn't suppress an alarmed yell. What he saw wasn't his paw, but something else. Something without fur, without his claws, something with different toes. Something that....looked about the same as those hands of that mandrill.
He barely dared to look over the rest of his form, but he did. Something was draped over him, but that was the least of Scar's worries. His hind-legs were taller, his entire built seemed different his tail had completely vanished, but most of all...he had no fur. He was practically bald!
What in the world...
With a trembling...hand (at least he thought it was a hand) he touched his face. His fangs were missing, replaced with teeth that were short and straight. Some hair still sat around his mouth and chin, but otherwise there wasn't anything left. He only felt skin. Even his muzzle had disappeared. He touched something he assumed was his nose, then his eyes and eventually the thick, black hair on his skull. His manes were still there, at least he thought these were his manes.
But it was obvious he no longer looked like the lion he was yesterday.
What happened to him?!
Panic finally caught up with him, his heart thumbing quickly in his chest, his breathing became shaky as every limb of his alien form trembled when he couldn't find an answer to his question. What was he supposed to do now?! How did this happen?! Why did it happen?
Who did this to him?!
"Mr. Irons?"
In his state of panic, Scar hadn't noticed the door opening. Nor did he notice the creature entering -- which he guessed was female -- but now that she had made herself known...
"What have you done to me?!" he immediately demanded, his panic replaced with anger. (At least his voice still sounded the same) Who in their right mind would dare doing such a thing to him?! To Scar, the King or the Pride Lands?!
The woman let out a small sigh. "You have been brought here, in Landels Institute, by your loved ones. You are delusional, but don't worry." A smile appeared on the female's lips, which was a bit too cheerful for Scar's tastes. "We will help you get better."
That didn't answer Scar's question, at all. Loved ones? Delusional?, and not to mention that name. That wasn't something he had wanted to here.
"I meant this." Scar stated while gesturing to 'his' alien body, frustration beginning to seep through his voice. The nurse only looked at him, slightly shaking her head while that smile was still present on her lips.

Was this person simply ignorant?! He nearly growled while gritting his teeth, but held back. "Just answer my question!" he attempted. "What happened to me?!"
"You have been submitted here by your loved ones." she answered, this time more strictly. "Now, please come with me. If you don't, we might need to be a little more forceful." She offered Scar a warning glance.
Scar glared at the female, but it seemed she didn't want to provide him with any answers regarding his situations. She had mentioned 'other patients', whatever that meant. Perhaps they were capable of answering his questions instead. He managed to calm himself down a bit, regaining his composure as much as possible while still wary of the other person in the room.
He attempted to move towards the exit of this location, only to lose his balance and fall face-flat on the floor.
This was quite embarrassing.
