Of course, his Other had memories of killing stronger opponents. But it had been a long time indeed since they had to slaughter another one of their species, much less a young, fresh one.
Testing the air, Brock imagined that he could see the thread of Other - symbiote, enemy - heading toward the stairs. There was really no word for how the symbiote could "see", except that it was like Parker's spider-sense on steroids, speed, and crack, all at the same time, and there was a good reason they usually relied on his mostly-human senses.
