Logan stepped into the hallway. He was sure that Parker would be fine by himself. There was no time to wait around, he had a rendezvous to keep. Moving swiftly, silently, he all but tore down the hallway.

He was going to get to see Lust again! Yay! He stepped out the moment the doors opened, completely ignoring the announcer's voice. It was time to see Lust, and that made him happy. She said he couldn't eat their partners, but that was okay. There were a lot of people, and they weren't all Lust's partners. Other ones might be edible. He was really hungry.

Lust wasn't in the hallway. He was sad at this, but knew better than to go roaming the halls. Lust would come find him. She knew better than to let him wander alone. It was big and confusing and he could easily get lost.

"Lust!" He shouted into the almost empty hallway. The other man nearby was tasty looking, but he would leave him alone for now. He had to find his Lust! His Lust had to be nearby. The large sin plopped down on the floor next to his room and waited. She would come for him, and it would be good.

Waiting until Quatre had gone, Phibrizzo crept into the hallway and checked about for Xelloss. It wouldn't do to talk to him in such an open environment tonight. Last night, they had been fortunate to not have been seen by many others; tonight it appeared that there was a very large, very fat man sitting in the hallway.

And he was staring right at Hellmaster.

Seeing no sign of Xelloss, Phibrizzo tried his best to make his presence lingering in the hallway to appear normal and waved innocently to the large man. "H-Hello, Mister. Why are you out here all alone?"

Someone new! Gluttony liked meeting new people. They all looked so tasty and yummy and delicious. This one was small, almost bite-size. But he couldn't eat now. Lust might get mad if he started eating people she didn't say she could eat. Still, he did look yummy. He reminded Gluttony of a boy he got to eat a long time ago. That boy screamed and cried right before Gluttony got to eat him. He was tasty.

Gluttony was really hungry, but Lust was still more important.

"Have you seen my Lust?" was Gluttony's optimistically-voiced answer to the tasty-looking small person's question.

Had Hellmaster SEEN his lust? That was not the sort of conversation Phibrizzo wanted to get involved in. "Lust" wasn't something that one could see, could they? Unless they looked for the signs of its manifestation, but that seemed highly inappropriate for someone of Phibrizzo's "age". And this human (he was human, right?) seemed so cheerful and optimistic about it too. Could he be one of THOSE sorts? Phibrizzo had heard of these sorts of humans before, the kind that liked little boys...

"EH?!
" The Mazoku lord cried, stumbling backwards. This reaction, unlike so many before, wasn't false.

Gluttony blinked at the boy with confusion. Why was he running? He wasn't going to eat the boy, at least not yet. As tasty as he looked, he couldn't without Lust's permission.

He was really hungry, though.

"My Lust!" he said again, with some insistence. "Where's my Lust?"

"I DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHERE YOUR LUST IS!" Phibrizzo snapped, sweat dropping. "I'M JUST A LITTLE KID!"

What a truly BIZARRE human...

Gluttony pouted at the boy's response. What did being a little kid have to do with his Lust? It didn't make sense. Did Lust not talk to little boys anymore? Maybe little kids were bad, and that meant he could eat them. He'd have to ask Lust about that when he found her.

"You don't know where my Lust is?" he said in a pout. His stomach growled slightly in a plaintive agreement. "Lust is good, you would like my Lust. I have to go to M---uhhh." He couldn't remember the number. That was bad. With a slightly pathetic whine, he shined his flashlight off down the hallway. "My Lust is coming for me," he said, almost to himself. It made him feel better to know that.

"...oh." It dawned on Phibrizzo that this man was obviously very stupid and was referring to his girlfriend (or maybe boyfriend) as his 'Lust'. Kind of blunt in the Mazoku's opinion, but if he wanted a relationship based soley off sexual desire without any love, Hellmaster wasn't going to complain.

Also, it meant he wasn't prepositioning him, which put him much more at ease.

"Actually," The Mazoku smirked, formulating a plan to clear out the hallway, "I think I have seen your Lust."

Gluttony grinned wide, showing a row of surprisingly sinister-looking teeth. "Where's my Lust?" he said delightedly, standing up. Maybe Lust would let him eat this boy when he found her. The boy did look very tasty and yummy looking.

"Well," Phibrizzo said, moving towards Gluttony with a smug grin, "You Lust told me to have you wait in my room for the time being. She's a bit busy and it's certainly not comfortable sitting out here in hall, is it?"

The boy motioned to his door. "Now, why don't you go on in and wait there until your Lust tells me what else you're supposed to do?"

Lust was so kind to think about his being comfortable. She was good and smart and knew what was best for Gluttony. Maybe this tasty-looking boy was a friend of Lust's? Maybe he was good and he shouldn't eat the boy after all.

Gluttony stood with surprising ease and grace for such an obese man. "Ok!" he said, walking into the room Phibrizzo mentioned. He'd get to see Lust soon, and they'd get to go out and he could maybe eat someone, and it would be good!

"Make yourself comfortable!" The young looking Mazoku lord sang after him. "I'll be back for you in a little bit!"

With the fat man inside, Phibrizzo shoved his door shut and latched it. This was too easy and too good to be true. Gluttony was a godsend- big, powerful looking, and easy as all hell to manipulate. And now he was under HELLMASTER'S control. Where was Xelloss when he wanted to gloat and show off his new toy?

As though summoned, Xelloss had stepped out of his room into the hallway then, glancing up and down before walking over towards Hellmaster. He'd found one of the light-casting devices that he'd seen the previous evening hiding under his own pillow, and was pleased at how easy it was to operate. Just an 'on' and 'off' switch.

"Good evening," he greeted Phibrizzo politely, turning the lightstick off as soon as he'd found the 'boy's' location. "How was your day?"

"I captured a fat man!" The Mazoku lord beamed to his subordinate. Was it just him or was there something in the air that made the night feel marvelously sinister? Whatever the case, Hellmaster found himself to be in good spirits. "What have you been doing since last night, Xelloss?"

"Really?" Xelloss opened his eyes at that declaration, honestly not sure what to make of it. "That's... very nice. I've been meeting interesting people today! As I'm sure you've noticed," a little flattery never hurt, "some of the other individuals here are also not quite of normal human capacity. At breakfast, someone immediately asked me about my unusual energy. A young lady named Reinforce. She also told me of a self-proclaimed goddess here named Amaterasu. And I met a pleasant gentleman who seems to have the sort of outlook which would make our goals mutually compatible; his name is Seishirou, and I agreed to meet with him in the kitchen this evening."

Xelloss paused. Perhaps it was just the almost exhilarating feeling in the atmosphere this evening, but he was still not quite following something. "If you don't mind my asking... why have you captured a fat man, Lord Hellmaster?"

Phibrizzo arched an eyebrow and countered the Priest. "Why not, Xelloss? He was sitting here, waiting for guidance--which I intend to give." He put his hands on his hips and grinned. "But I can't exactly leave him out here for everyone to see, can I? What if someone who knows him comes along?"

He pointed a finger at Xelloss. "Worst yet, what if he saw us talking? I'm not connected to you, remember? Let's keep it that way."

"Anyhow, I think we can safely say there is something peculiar going on here."
