The hallways were eerily silent tonight; Rukia just hoped she was moving quickly, and that something more sinister wasn't going on. Passing by the first few hallways, Rukia turned right when she saw M10.
Ah yes. There were bathrooms here, and people, though they seemed to be moving back into the halls where the rooms were. Armand scanned the hall with his flashlight and didn't see Javert. He hoped this was the right place. He leaned against a wall, near the entrance to the men's bathroom, and waited with his arms crossed.
The flashlight's beam illuminated St. Just up ahead, and Javert quickened his pace slightly. There was no sign of Trevelyan as he neared the men's bathroom, but no doubt he'd be here soon.
"Bonsoir, M. St. Just," he said briefly, settling back against the wall as well.
Seeing a familiar face loom out the dark made up for getting nearly blinded by the beam of his light. "Bonsoir, M. Javert," Armand answered. "I found the right bathroom. So we wait for your friend?"
No more of a wait was required - Trevelyan came walking out of the darkened hallway, his own flashlight's beam sweeping the area quickly and finding St. Just and Javert.
His shoulder wasn't bothering him quite so much, and for that he was glad. He could at least move his arm now, although it wasn't as good as new. It would leave a scar, but a very faint one. What I wouldn't have given for that to happen during Cowslip... he thought bitterly. There seemed to be something here that rapidly accelerated healing. He didn't know what it was, and he didn't particularly care. All that mattered was that he could fight again.
Now, Jade honestly had no idea why he decided to take a quick detour. It was almost as if some higher power made a mistake and in the end it made him look like he was doing something silly. Nonetheless, he held back a sigh before stepping back out.

It was always quiet, this early in the night. Renji walked quickly through the halls, heading toward the one where he recalled Valyn's room being.

"'Lo, all," he said once he got close enough.

Recluse moved as quickly as he could without compromising stealth. He didn't want to get delayed tonight.
