Day 26: Intercom, Noon
The intercom clicked on and the doctor spoke with his usual enthusiasm.
"Well, it seems as if it's already time for lunch, patients, and do I have good news for you! You see, our great Institute has been undergoing some renovation right beneath your feet, and we've finally finished the changes. The basement is, of course, off limits to all of you, but I'm sure nurses would be interested in attending a tour hosted by me to explore some of the remnants of this area's rich history.
"In any case, I don't mean to bore anyone with my giddy ramblings! Lunch is, I'm sure, on everyone's minds, and today it's something everyone will love: Pasta! Why, yes, we have plain spaghetti available, with your choice of toppings, the choices being tomato sauce, olive oil, butter, parmesan cheese, and/or meatballs! We have garlic bread and Caesar salad available on the side as well as our usual choice of drinks.
"I do believe that's all for now! I hope everyone enjoys!"
