Day 26: Intercom, Morning

The intercom clicked on with its usually cheery air and the Head Doctor seemed to call out the events of the day with a smile that was nearly audible.

"I trust that everyone enjoyed a hearty breakfast! Now, as I'm sure everyone is looking forward to the events of today, I will come clean with what they are! Yes, that's right, today, everyone will

At first, it didn't click that Mion wasn't where she should be. In fact, when she woke up, she rolled over and tried to get back to sleep. It was the weekend, after all, and she doubted being a little late to club activities in the city would be the end of the world.

After a minute of not being able to return to sleep it dawned on her that this wasn't her bed. Mion didn't open her eyes though, she listened. Maybe they had gotten a new air conditioner while she was asleep and had moved her to another bed because her's was in the way. ... Yeah, and Keiichi loved being the club's dress up toy.

Finally, Mion got out of bed and began inspecting just where exactly she was. Right away she knew that she'd never been here before in her life. Well until now, anyway. She looked at the different items there, through the closet, but not a thing was familiar.

"Well this old man'll just have to look around and find out where she is herself..." Mion began walking over to the door and leapt back when it opened, revealing a... nurse? "Uh, excuse me... Can you--"

"Good morning Miss Pace! I take it you slept well?" The woman was all smiles as Mion tried to formulate a response, but before she could the nurse continued. "But I'm afraid you missed breakfast. No matter, there will be other meals."

"Well, the thing is, ma'am, I'm not a 'Pace', I'm Mion Sonozaki and--" Before Mion could finish trying to tell the woman she must be in the wrong place, she was interupted.

"No no, Miss Pace, I'm afraid you're disoriented," she shook her head and looked at a clipboard. Mion's eyes narrowed slightly.

"Where am I? And how'd I get here?" questioned the girl.

"Now now, you know all of that. You're at the Landel's Institute and I believe you should be in the game room right about now! Right this way please!"

Mion opened her mouth to say something, but seeing as - if anyone - this nurse belonged in an institute; Mion chose to just follow the nurse to wherever this 'game room' was. Hey, for all Mion knew, this was a dream.
