The last thing William had thought of before the effects of the G-virus began to take place was of revenge. He had seen all the possible scenarios of what could have happened too-- the dogs of Umbrella lying in a puddle of filth and blood with great gaping wounds covering their bodies, gasping as their life slipped from them. The dogs of Umbrella twisted and mangled beyond all recognition, drowning in sewer water...
Just about anything as long as they were shown exactly what happened to those who tried to take away his precious work.
Yet the scientist was sorely disappointed when he opened opened his eyes next, the phantom feel of blood still on his hands. This was not his facility... Nor was this anywhere near the sewers if the scent of antiseptic was anything to go by. He sat up with a frown, eyes traveling down to his still human form.
The G-virus...
Why had his perfection not taken effect? No... that was not the right question to ask, the doctor knew the virus had taken effect, he had felt it flowing through his veins in that final moment. The proper question to ask now was who or what had reversed it.
Umbrella barely even known of his work, there was little possibility of them creating a serum to counteract it and Annette was just as in the dark as they... He glanced around the room, noting the bare walls and sparse furniture before his eyes landed on the figure of yet another man seated on a bed across the room.

Curious.
