Disciplinary Therapy Room 2 [M-U for Adelheid Bernstein]

A family’s burden was a heavy thing to rest on one’s shoulders. The crimes they’ve committed, the sins they’ve flaunted, and the apathy of the aftereffects that were inflicted to those unfortunate enough to be caught up in the mess. Most would’ve crumbled underneath the weight, but this one managed to stay standing.

It was only a doctor’s (or more of a sadist’s) nature to wonder how long it’d take before he fell like the rest of them.

Having been forced to grow up, but still not quite a man yet. It was a pity that things like these have to come to those who were much too young. But it was too bad that the doctor hardly felt any pity for the creature, finding himself unable to contain his laughter when he read through the blond’s files.

Really, he was paid to be a doctor, not a sympathizer.

The room had been pitched black for what felt like an eternity, all up until when the enigmatic man reached up and flicked the switch of the surgery light that hovered over the examination table. Almost immediately the small room flooded with light, though the man’s face was still obscured by the darkness.

"Wake up, Adelheid." The doctor called out, wry grin hidden in the shadows. "Or can I just call you Adel?"
