Nightshift 25: Gardener's Shed

Trekking up to the north end of the courtyard, Cloud stopped as he found himself in front of a small building. He noted a lock and gently pulled on it, noting that it was in similar condition to the one that had allowed him out in the courtyard in the first place. It was just as easy to break the lock off with the use of his flashlight, but he noted the butt was getting damaged from his rough handling.
He slowly pulled open the door to peer inside before allowing the door to swing open completely. It was a gardener’s shed, and he knew he should not have been staring at the lawnmower as he was. There were improvised weapons in here, and he thanked Gaia for leading him here.
He stepped into the small shed, his eyes looking over all the items contained. There were all manner of objects in here, including what appeared to be shovel, lawnmower and even a wheelbarrow. He could at least work with this.
Reaching out, he grabbed one of the rakes and turned it over, noting its quality. He felt a little bad for breaking the head off of the rake, but he only needed the shaft at this point. He tugged the lawnmower out and turned it over to examine the blades. They were better than anything he had found so far, and if he was going to get attacked, he wanted a weapon.
Now, if he could only dredge up drafting classes from the military.
