Lyta hadn't been expecting company. She was honestly surprised when the knock came, and a gentle feel told her that it was Envy. Maybe just the two of them would get something done.

Stretching, Lyta called out over her shoulder.

"Come in!" No more waiting, no detours, nothing. She was bound and determined, and she hoped to hell that her partner was, too.

Envy opened the door, relieved to find that they were no longer flooded with company. This would be easier.

"Third time's the charm," he said leaning casually against the wall, "Are we waiting for another platoon, or can we do it right this time?"

"We aren't waiting for anyone," Lyta said. Her voice was hard, a clear indication of her determination. She was already armed with her syringes. She was going to get something done tonight no matter what. And it seemed Envy had the same attitude.

"We know where we're going, we're not waiting for anyone, let's go."

Envy just nodded. Along the way he remained silent, briefly wondering if he should make conversation, or ask if she knew anything about what had gone on out in the courtyard the night before, but they would find ut soon enough. They made it along in determined silence, and Envy kept himself moving with the nourishing thoughts of destroying the things- the ones- he hated.

Lyta kept up the silence as well. Her inner ears were tuned for anything she should be aware of, however. She ignored the usual - fear, pain, panic - as she usually did. She couldn't just wander off and help people. There were plenty of people who could, she'd leave it to them.

By now, she knew the way to the Courtyard like the back of her own hand, and headed quickly there.
