Then she got what Signum was getting at and paused. She blinked a moment and looked back over her shoulder at the knight. Okay, now she felt stupid. "How about we head there after we see Hitsugaya? It shouldn't take him long to brief me."
She might as well warn Signum about Hitsugaya now. "I told you before that Hitsugaya looks like a thirteen year old boy. What I didn't tell you is he's something of a protege and made captain well before anyone expected him to. That being the case, he's tremendously arrogant, exceedingly formal, stuffy." Momo's tone was affectionate even though her words spoke of other emotions. "I love him, but he has really bad personal skills. His manner is great for a commander, terrible for anyone else. He's going to treat you like you're less than him, but it's in his nature to. Try not to take it personally - he does it to everyone."
They neared the M Block. "What am I talking about? You'll probably like him," she said with a smirk.

Signum returned the smirk. "The proteges I know are too humble. I can't hold that against him." In fact, he was starting to sound a bit like her, minus the age thing. The strictness of a dedicated leader and servant aside the pride of one who knew the height of their own achievement.
Of course, that didn't necessarily mean they'd get along. If anything, it'd probably put them at odds. She'd just have to be careful not to let her antagonistic side get ahold of her. For all the similarities she saw in the description, anyone who was called 'stuffy' by their friends probably wouldn't appreciate her ribing. Or penchant for starting fights.

She tilted her head at the knight when she looked back at her. "Can you cast any of that magic you said your world had or is it all blades and blood for you?" She needed to know what kind of capabilities Signum had since they'd be watching each others' backs. "I have a vast variety of kidou available to me, including healing, though it does drain me."

This vastly understated the power of both. The Wolkenritter had been feared even by the TSAB with its armies of mages and powerful interdimensional navy, and the 6th Mobile included the Wolkenritter and three Midchildan mages Signum's equal or stronger... among them Hayate, heir to the power of the Book, an SS-ranked magic user and Lt. Colonel with her own command at the age of 20.

"My division, the 5th, consists of myself and four hundred thirty three shinigami. I am currently the commanding officer of my division until a new captain is chosen to replace my captain. We usually divide the division further to work in teams of three when on patrol," she said decribing the command structure of the Gotei 13. "I am ranked in the top twenty-six... no... twenty-four shinigami."
She opened the door. "I think I'll introduce you as the former general of the Wolkenritter, unless you wish otherwise," she decided. At least it'd get Hitsugaya to treat Signum with a tiny amount of respect.
She passed through the door to the M Block.
