Day 25: Intercom, Morning

Jun 28, 2007 21:42

The intercom clicked on and though the jingle sounded as usual, the Head Doctor seemed to be in some kind of hurry, as he turned on the microphone and began speaking before it had even finished.

"I apologize for the brevity of this announcement, but it seems as if there has been some trouble organizing the paperwork for the new patients coming in later today. Thus, the nurses know where to take you--males to the Recreational Field, where they can participate in a lively game of soccer run by the nurses or borrow other materials from the recreation shed, and females to the Greenhouse for a planting workshop. Remember, nurses--only benign objects may be given to the patients, meaning no bats or sharp trowels!

"I believe that's all for--oh! Of course. Nurses, if you'd kindly escort the patients for today's assigned therapy sessions to their doctors? Er, that is, except for Dr. Wilson and Dr. House, of course, who are on leave today for an emergency medical consult. Thank you!"

The intercom clicked off.
