It wasn't long before the Head Doctor came onto the PA system again, and the moment Naminé heard his voice return to that chilling tone he always adopted in the night, she felt a shiver down her spine. This time, however, his cruel insults seemed to hold some strange riddles. A war? Naminé actually set down her plate for this, listening intently. But the enigmatic doctor provided no more clues, only more taunts and jeers. Still, it was quite a shock to hear him speak about such a thing.
Or was he just trying to scare them, as he always did?
The witch found that her appetite, like always, was quickly lost and she placed the food on the table. It was always gone in the morning when she woke up. She did not know if it was because someone or something goes into her room during the night to finish it or if the nurses simply took it away in the morning before she woke up. It was probably best not to dwell on it, for Naminé had other things to think about.
She reached under the mattress, pulling out the two manilla folders that she and Luxord nearly died reaching. They may not have held information about the facility, but they held information about them... she laid Luxord's file next to her as she skimmed over her own.
The report described her as introverted. Always drawing pictures. Isolated self from the other children, even her own... sister? Naminé's brow furrowed. It went on, describing a bout of amnesia and a car accident when she was ten that triggered it. Amnesia...?
Nobodies were said not to be able to feel emotions like anger, but Naminé couldn't help but grow more and more upset as the report went on. Who would write blatant lies about her own life?
Then the irony of her thought sank in.
Naminé knew that she was the expert on lying about other people's lives. She had done it quite skillfully in the past.
