He kept any more questions to himself for now, simply hoping that things would become more clear as they progressed.

[[into the Greenhouse]]

Sasuke took a slow, deep breath of the dry air as they stepped out of the door to the greenhouse. The hall was as quiet as it had been when they'd first come through, which was probably a relatively sure sign that there would be few patients in the corresponding hall upstairs.
Signalling that they were turning left and towards the stairs, Sasuke headed the steps.

Cliff only had to nudge the door open. It looked like the people from earlier had used the emptier hallway to access the greenhouse. This one had no doors or windows. He started down, keeping an eye out for exits.

Following Cliff into the hallway, Kurama frowned. This didn't bode well. The hallway was leading thing right back in the direction of that creature.

Though without any side rooms or hallways to escape to, it would be fairly easy to be trapped in here. Hopefully nothing like that would happen.

He kinda' wished he'd brought his torch now. This corridor seemed darker than the last one.

"Sure, sorry." Usopp began walking faster to keep up with Yuber--he was kind of eager to stay on the move too, even though he was distracted a bit by the appearance of his roommate. He glanced back over his shoulder at Kazuo as he walked to continue the conversation, trusting Yuber ahead of him to lead for now.
"Let's see... I got two frying pans, some flour, some chili powder, and some other stuff. And the baskets." Usopp hefted the one on his arm to demonstrate. "I used one to make a slingshot and the other's just for carrying right now. I don't have too much ammunition on me, though."
And the spoons, that stupid gift... what was the point in that, anyway? Someone who could fight a demon off alone like that didn't need any spoons, no matter how sharp he made them. Stupid. Maybe they'd come in handy somehow anyway...
"Not a whole lot of stuff, really. The kitchen didn't have any real knives in it or anything."

"Not bad," Kazuo commented to Usopp. He eyed the baskets and assessed what was in them. It was better than nothing. He also filed away the info about the kitchen; no point in going if there were no knives. He wasn't interested in fighting with chili powder.
Kazuo secured the knot on the electrical cord again, just to be sure, as they walked.

There was a distinct scent of plants on the air the further they walked down the hallway. Were they coming close to another outside area? It was a plausible explanation considering that the cafeteria had lead out to some form of garden. If that were the case then would it lead them back to that single-minded creature? Even if it did Yuber doubted that it would be intelligent enough to be too much of a problem.
His lips curved up into the barest hint of a smirk while he made his way down the hallway, and through the doors at the end.
