Relena was more than glad she had had practice keeping a cool head and a calm façade because the voice on the intercom creeped her out. It was a toss-up if it was worse than Dr. J or Duke Dermail in terms of creepiness. The change in tone didn't escape her notice either. Correction - the voice from earlier was more like Dr. J, and the voice right before the locks clicked - or so she assumed - was more like the former head of Romafeller.
Okay, so the nerves were starting to get to her, despite her mental efforts to stay calm, if she was analyzing of whom the voice reminded her. She also worried about which would be the better action - staying here, safe and sound, or to explore a bit and see if she could find anything that might help if the Preventers could get to her.
