Night 60: Courtyard

The wall was only a head and a half taller than he was, so it had been easy enough to clear, even with the wind whipping his hair in his face and the cold already beginning to penetrate.
When he landed in the courtyard, he was almost taken aback by how much change the night had brought to what had been a peaceful place during the day. But otherwise, the courtyard itself was empty and bore nothing alarming.
There was another, smaller shack here in the courtyard as well, but again, Kurama decided to ignore it for the time being. He'd store knowledge of the shack's existence away for later inspection, but he needed to focus on what he came here to do first.
