Day 60: Intercom, Dusk
The intercom jingle sounded in every room, alerting each patient that the Head Doctor was about to speak again. He sounded particularly bright and upbeat this evening.
"Hello, everyone! Or, I suppose it will be 'goodnight' soon, won't it?" A friendly chuckle. "I'm sure you all must be very exhausted after a day with so many fun-filled activities, hmm? That turkey is bound to make people a little drowsy, too--"
A long, drawn-out yawn filtered through the intercom before the Head Doctor continued, sounding a little more sheepish this time.
"Oh, goodness! My apologies. I suppose that must mean it's time for lights out. Pleasant dreams, everyone, and good night!"
