When Renamon grabbed his hand, Byrne opened his mouth to question her but had no time to actually do so before the world changed - and quickly. Instinctively he squeezed his eyes shut, and the few moments following became indescribable to him beyond a lurching feeling being present. The next thing he knew, he was opening his eyes to find not the dark hallway the pair had been standing in only moments before, but what appeared to be a shop of some sort.

W-what? He blinked rapidly, unable to believe his eyes at first. What just happened? Where...where were they?

Renamon quickly answered his question before he had the chance to ask. Doyleton. They were in Doyleton. They--they teleported to Doyleton. Somehow. ...It was probably pointless to ask how on earth she did that, so he was going to ask a more meaningful question instead. "Doyleton? What's here?" Surely Renamon had a reason to bring them here ( ... )

...She would give him this: He was handling it well, despite the circumstances. The Digimon smiled lightly at him, pleased and partially amused. Byrne was learning to evolve, to shift to mimic his surroundings, and it was a trait she found most admirable. Her hand went behind her back, and carefully slid the knife she had gotten back from Tear out of her belt, then held it out to the man. "Hold on to this for tonight. Just in case."

That said and done, she moved towards the door. She already knew there was little she could currently use in this shop. However, if she remembered across the street.... "Here? Supplies." She looked back at him as she opened the door. "As much as you can gather before being overran."
