The mess thinned out as they got toward the center of the hallway, and Indy couldn't see anything moving there but other patients. He'd fallen a few paces behind Dent (because he was looking around, he thought defensively; he wasn't having trouble keeping up) and had to hustle to catch up.
"I don't know," he admitted flatly when he rejoined Dent. "But they weren't all killed in the same way. I can't even tell how some of them would've been killed, but it doesn't look like something most patients could have done."
Unless... Indy's thoughts flickered back to all those stories about "powers," and the handful of times he'd seen patience appear to demonstrate them. Brainwashed patients were usually stationary, but maybe one was on the move tonight.

"Then again, we saw what Peter was capable of," he pointed out as he continued to move down the hall. Jones was doing a decent job of keeping up, but Harvey didn't know if he should slow down a little. It might just bother the man because he'd feel like he was being coddled, but...
Whatever. He'd just brought up Jones' death in the most insensitive way possible. Jones was going to have to deal with him being tactless and not necessarily babying him, and he was pretty sure the man would do both without complaining.
That's why Harvey liked him.
