[from here]Oh, how she missed this! Just like old times, riding atop Tokunaga without a care in the world. Anything that got in her way would be trampled with ease

Tifa was two steps into the new hallway when her sneaker squealed across the strangely slippery tile and brought her butt down to meet the floor. Her tailbone sung with pain and betrayal as she sat, stunned, in something slightly sticky and--
Oh, blood. Wonderful. It wasn't hard to see the carnage in the corridor now that she was paying attention. Bloody footprints every where and flattened roadkill. It looked like a giant just decided to stomp right through without care for the lowly.
The gore wasn't what was so disturbing, though. What was disturbing was the fact that two monsters had been taken down by something and the night had just begun. This never happened--In fact, monsters rarely came this close to the patient's cells! Whatever Code Red had been, it wasn't good, clearly.
Neither was sitting on the floor, she realized, when something stealthy grew closer. Its only give away was the soft click of its nails to the left of her, but there wasn't enough time to get to her feet and defend herself before it was upon her. Clutching her breast, Tifa summoned a spell of Ice to at least stun the beast for a moment. The air around her began to sing with energy, much more energy than she remembered ever pulling in this place. It concentrated into a ball that instantly froze the creature. Whole. It was completely frozen solid. Tifa didn't know what to make of it.
Holding her breath, she got to her feet and cautiously leaned over the new ice sculpture of what looked to be a feral cat. Her foot was brought up over its head and, after a moment's hesitation, Tifa stomped it into the ground. The figure shattered into chips of ice and frozen flesh across the hallway. It was surreal and exhilarating and she even let herself hope that she now had the means to leave this place.
She needed to find Zack and run away from here. Together, with their powers, they could face anything.
