Yes, finally! The doors were unlocked and Vino was ready. It took only a moment to glance at the map again he had again, noting where his destination was and memorizing the route there, before he was ready to leave. He was only going to bring what he'd brought with him last night, so everything else went into his possessions box.

His roommate hadn't turned up. Something must have happened. But it was none of Vino's business.

He made ready to leave, there was no time to lose. Adventure was waiting! But just as he put a hand on the door, the speakers came on again, and he paused, mostly because the voice that came on wasn't any that he recognized -- just a tinny, mechanical voice, the sort that sounded chopped and pasted together.

... Something was happening. Something exciting. Vino didn't have to listen to the broken up broadcast, he felt it. Code Red, Code Red -- that was usually used to indicate emergencies in the military, wasn't it? Wasn't it?! Whatever could be going on, tonight was going to be great!

When he pulled the door open with a tad more energy than necessary, sure enough, the hallways were filled with a pink light, sweeping all the way down the hallway and probably in all the other hallways as well. Something was definitely up.

No more moments to spare. Tonight was Vino's night. He stepped out of the doorway and continued purposefully down his hallway, the route he would have to take already drawn out in his mind.
