Erika stood back to survey her work, and she had no idea why no one seemed to care.
By 'no one', she was referring to the soldiers who were on guard, who should be looking particularly anxious due to the atmosphere of this place. It didn't make sense in her mind. Someone who just took up a large chunk of the middle of the Sun Room to build a

It made him miss River. And Lucivar, who would have been delighted by the sight of it and no doubt would have dove right in. Daemon didn't, however, although his bemused smile remained on his lips as he moved to one of the last few free sofas not dominated by the makeshift structure. There was someone already at one end, a young female, and he paused after he approached, giving her an uncertain-but-game smile.
"Do you mind if I sit here?' he asked, motioning to the other end of the sofa. "We seem to be short on seats in here today."

The man wasn't one she recognized on sight, but there was enough of a familiarity that allowed she had seen him before. Not a new patient, then. She wasn't obligated to see if he had enough information to survive his first night. In that, they could do their own thing without needing to interact. Except in this place, that might lead to a lack of information on either side, and after last night, Renamon was reminded of how much she did lack. "I'm Renamon."

He didn't recognize her, although her name seemed vaguely familiar. Perhaps he'd seen her on the board?
"Have you been here long?"

The man moved with a casual grace she hadn't seen among most here. If her senses weren't telling her otherwise, she would wonder if he belonged in a different body as well. As it was, he could only be a graceful human.
He asked what she normally would have, and having that question directed at her for once was relatively interesting. She tilted her head politely. "A month, now," she gave with little emotion. "Yourself?"

A month. They might have crossed paths briefly there at the end, then. Or they could have missed each other entirely. It was hard to tell, without knowing exactly when and what had happened.
"Ahh... That's a little complicated," he answered, his lips quirking faintly into a wry expression. His shoulders lifted in a faint shrug. "I recall being here for around three weeks. Those three weeks were just... several weeks ago. I misplaced some time, or they misplaced it for me, and I only re-awoke a few days ago to find everything changed and very few familiar faces. Rather disconcerting, actually."

It was more disturbing, she thought, to wake and learn you had been moving with no recollection of the acts. Though, as one who had lost time, albeit a day compared to weeks, the fact of any time lost at all was, as Daemon said, quite disconcerting.
At least she could offer to assist here. "You've missed a bit, then. I could try to catch you up, if you wish. What do you know?"

Although the sleeping for four weeks was far beyond annoying.
Her offer made him smile faintly and he inclined his head in gratitude. "That would be much appreciated, actually," he answered, pausing to think a moment. "I've gotten most of the story about the military takeover, and them ousting Landel. Does anyone know where he's been dragged off to? Or why he's suddenly playing friendly? Have there been clues or conversations given? I confess, what I've heard has been... more vague than usual."

Renamon gave a dry smile, and moved to speak. "In truth, Landel's made an alliance with Marc, the new man on the radio and supposed adversary. They made a joint message a few nights ago, in which Landel opened a new door in the basement." The whole information given would sound like something to doubt to the Digimon if she hadn't met one of them herself. "I can attest to the first part, at least. Myself and two others met with Marc last night."

Realizing he'd just peppered her with question after question, he shot her an apologetic look and raked his fingers through his hair, tousling it a bit. "I apologize. That was a lot of questions. I didn;t mean to overwhelm you. I'm just trying to catch up on what i might have missed."
Something else she'd said made him pause a moment, thinking back on something else Sora had said this morning. "The basement. A new door, you said? Have you been down to the basement? People seem a little close-lipped about how to get down there and what's actually there once you find your way in." Or so he'd been told. He hadn't had a chance to ask on the board for himself yet. Maybe he wouldn't need to?

She nodded to his deduction. "Correct." There were careful bans in place, and like Daemon, she wondered exactly what was being hidden. "From what it seems like, the center door is just another trial to overcome. There's still the final door, which is likely the one Landel unlocked." She shook her head slightly. "I'm afraid I have no information on that door at all."

"I can't imagine there being enough time in a night to get through all the challenges at once," Daemon wondered aloud, frowning in thought now. "I wonder if its something you only have to accomplish once, or each time you pass

From what she knew on the subject.... "I believe you only have to go through them once. Once a challenge of the side doors is completed you receive a small item. From what I know of the third door, you place both items into it to unlock it." From there, she did not know.

He digested this new information, tucking it away. He'd have to pass it on to Sora in case the boy didn't already know. "So possibly three consecutive nights, if you could manage to get there that many times uninterrupted. Although who knows what's through that door then? It could be even more. I can't imagine anything in this place ever being simple. Or coming without a price."
