After all, the boy who did was gone, washed up on the Islands with his dreams and hopes that only turned out to be coated in Darkness.
"And waste my time looking for them?" he posed in return. "If Sora and Kairi are still here, they'll understand why I needed to do this." That was half a lie, but Albedo didn't need to know that. His friends would never fully understand the way he motivated himself and went about his tasks. As for the names, he dropped them to see if Albedo was aware of them. If not, no problem, but he didn't want to waste an opportunity.
He shook his head and looked on ahead toward the same doors. He'd let Albedo make the move this time. He considered adding more-about how he wasn't here to dawdle or else he'd just stay in bed-but he decided against it. After that look on Albedo's face, he lost any lengthy explanations, and Riku didn't want him to think he bothered to turn on the charm again.
