Some nights, he really did wish something would happen on his way to the men's room. Something big. Something spectacular. Something like an impromptu jazz band with instruments filched from the music room and patients that could actually play real music. Or perhaps he could find a phoenix down. Maybe someone could graffiti up the

A quick glance around showed no signs of danger. That wasn't so unusual, though. The patient blocks were usually pretty quiet, and it was still early in the night. Then again, Claude hadn't forgotten Aguilar's offer. He wondered how many people here would willingly take weird drugs in order to get a weapon or a pin. Now that Leon was gone, there weren't many ways to secure a real sword. It made him worry for everyone's safety, but also glad that no one he knew would actually try something like that.
In the meantime, Claude figured he ought to wait for Guy so they could meet Anise together. He still had to stop by Rita's room, of course, but that wouldn't take long.
It would be nice to be able to team up with his friends and actually get somewhere tonight. After how angry he felt from watching today's movie and getting that letter from Leon, Claude wanted to pour his energy into something productive.
As it turned out, though, Guy hadn't shown up yet. That was okay, though. The night had just started, so chances were he hadn't left his room yet. Leaning his back against the wall, he patiently kept an eye on his friend's hallway.

Exiting out into the hall, Guy was glad to see that Claude had already made it. They had their timing more or less synced up by now, so neither of them ever had to wait long for the other to show. He lifted the hand holding his flashlight in a half-wave as he moved over, though he made sure to keep his sword held carefully at his side, seeing how he hadn't had the time to work on that sheath yet.
He had just seen his friend a bit earlier, but he didn't want to think about that movie that they'd watched any more than they already had. They had other things to worry about, and while they were working on their own escape, that didn't mean it had to mirror what they had watched on that screen. They could make their own way.
"Hey," he greeted, glancing around and finding that the hallway was still mainly empty. "So should we just wait for Anise in the hall through there?" he asked with a nod to the door that would take them out of the block. That was how they had been meeting up as of late, but he didn't know if they might be taking a different route to the basement tonight. He didn't really care how they got there, so long as they did.

"Yeah, about that..." Claude rubbed the back of his head and glanced toward the door. "Actually, I have something I need to take care of in the women's block, so I asked Anise if we could meet around there." He felt bad about changing the routine, but he figured it would probably be better for Anise since he was up in that neck of the woods anyway.
"Sorry I didn't get around to posting a bulletin note about it," he added. Hopefully Guy was okay with that. Once he acknowledged the plan, then they could move out pretty fast.

Wanting to get going, Guy kept his questions to himself for the moment, deciding to wait until they were on the way before he started up a conversation. Instead he just led them out into the hall.
