Not wanting to be dragged along on whatever Mission of Annoyance Schuldig had planned for himself at lunch, Farfarello instead headed straight into the cafeteria, alone

Moving along with the crowd, he lost the sight of Bast somewhere. Too much people, too close. He hated places like this, with passion. He took his place in the line and picked up a tray, threw some food on it without much caring what it was or how much of it was there. He probably wouldn't eat it.
Something was to be said about his efficiency in the last days. He had been totally useless if he was honest about it. And it irritated him to no end. Yohji and Schuldig, neither one of them had nothing to do with the irritation, no. That at least was clear.
He took a seat at a table, beside the wall, content to have at least a little bit of secured space around him.

It had been a productive morning, but not really one that had worked up an appetite, so Omi settled on one sloppy joe and a handful of different fruit before wandering over to Aya's table and settling down in the seat across from him. "Hello, Aya-kun. Did you have a good morning?"
Reply
He looked up from the plate as Omi sat down and nodded at him as a greeting. "Better than yesterday," he said slowly. "How are you doing?" Rare words from a guy who usually avoided initiating any kind of conversation.
Reply
"That's good. I'm doing alright. I met some new people, and I think I have plans for tonight now." Which reminded him... "Sorry about last night. I probably should have at least made sure you weren't on your own or something, but Kurama-kun and I were in kind of a hurry. Were you okay?" See above, re: mothering.
And speaking of mothering, Omi was going to have to say something about Aya-kun's lack of appetite if no eating got done soon. He had to make sure his family team friends were taking care of themselves.
Reply
"You don't have to worry about me." I can take care of myself. He was glad to hear Omi was fine though. Not that the monsters in this place really got him worried, nothing what he'd seen or heard about had yet seemed too dangerous for a trained assassin like Omi was. But there were other things that bothered him.
Omi seemed to have some luck considering the roommate issue. Aya was relieved. Kurama seemed like a decent person, not that he or Omi any less would trust a person just like that but based on brief encounters, Aya would have been far more concerned if Omi had got Kadaj as his roommate.
He nursed the water glass against his chest, sipping every now and then, and basically ignored his food.
Reply
Well... he hadn't planned on asking things, but.. well, if he was going to end up with Aya upset at him, too, he might as well do it on a night when they weren't going to plan to meet. Give him time to cool down, and he'd be fine. Probably.
Reply
"Define enough," he finally gritted out, the words well chewed and carefully pronounced. Omi was right about the lonesome mission, but the difference was that Aya didn't consider the lack of worry over his persona anything alarming.
Reply
"Define enough? Aya-kun...! You should worry enough not to throw yourself into dangerous situations when there might be better ways of doing things, for one." The glare softened a little, perhaps showing Omi's true age a bit too well. "Or you could try talking to your friends once in a while."
Reply
"I'm am not stupid, Omi," he finally stated, turning his face away and letting his gaze sweep over the cafeteria. The intent behind his words was somewhat true even. He wouldn't throw himself in danger if there was better way of doing things.
He wasn't sure if he would call Mamoru a friend anymore, he was more like family. But Omi perhaps scored in both sectors, and that fact made it hard to decide if he, like Yohji, was happy they had Omi here instead of Mamoru.
"And I'm talking to you now," which was also true. All things considered, he didn't like forcing his company on either Omi or Yohji. And it seemed whenever they would talk, Aya would start arguments.
Reply
He ignored Aya's first statement, because 'then prove it' was only likely to start a real argument. That wasn't the point here. He wasn't sure what the point was, but it wasn't starting a fight.
He huffed again, less angrily this time, and hit Aya with a hurt look. "No, you're defending yourself. I guess I shouldn't be surprised."
Reply
"Then stop accusing me," he threw back, glancing at Omi briefly and winced at the hurt look, deciding to turn his gaze away quickly before Omi would crank up the power level of those evil eyes of his. What did he expect anyhow? That Aya would admit being careless and evasive when he had not been either one of the things any more than Omi had?
He fell silent for a moment, sighing heavily. "This is ridiculous," he muttered after a moment, and clonked his water glass on the table, leveling a steady gaze at Omi even with the threat of the having to face the cornflower blue that had the power of making him feel so guilty over his own words. "Do we have the time or resources to be arguing about petty things here and there?"
Reply
He picked at his food, uncharacteristically not hungry. He debated whether to ask about Mamoru, but decided it could wait. All things Kritiker could wait, since they seemed to be stuck here indefinitely anyway. "Or maybe we do, but I don't want to argue with you."
Reply
"Omi, I.. " Am sorry? Apologies never came easily and he frowned darkly. "This place gets on my nerves." More emotions in the silent words than he had yet revealed to anyone else here. "How are we going to get out of here?" What he was actually asking was if they would get out at all, but it wasn't easy to admit he wasn't totally convinced. Someone had to be sure after all.
Reply
He bit his lip, worrying at it as he thought. He wasn't exactly sure, either. "I don't know. I mentioned I had plans tonight. Apparently a group is going to map out the second floor. Maybe we'll find something up there." He didn't sound exactly hopeful about it.
Reply
"Sounds like you have it all planned out." He didn't expect anything less from Omi. It made him feel useless. Omi was going to check out the second floor. Aya had made it just beyond his own hallway this far. And he had a date with a madman to go find some glitter glue and cake. Wonderful.
"Be careful."
Reply
Which only made sense. It also made it obvious when you'd wandered into one of those important areas. Rats in the hallway, a giant spider in the shed, he wasn't sure he wanted to know what was guarding the actual exit from this place.
And then there was the other problem with escaping. "Hey, Aya-kun? ...Even if we did get out, do you think we could get back to our own worlds?"
