It was hard for Guy to believe that a farfetched idea of his might actually work out in the end, seeing how rare that was in this place. Still, he had found the leather and had been allowed to buy it, which meant that the toughest part at this point would be finding tools to work with and also blocking out enough time to work on making the sheath.

"Oh, you two are friends? Go ahead, I wouldn't want to get in your way." It was pretty easy to tell that Guy and Sync were not friends, but perhaps Erika was trying to goad one of them to correct her. She was extremely curious about the relationship between these two and resolved to ask Sync later about it. Since he was pretending that she was a stranger, it was probably best to keep up the appearance.
Still, Erika had a hard time concealing all of her amusement and mirthfulness. Really, she was just tickled at this entire scene, as if she was enjoying how hard Guy was struggling to push Sync out of his seat. Sync was pretty strong, but... he was still a kid, no matter which way you looked at it, so it was pretty obvious who was going to win in the end. All the more reason to enjoy this scene while it still lasted.

No, he just wanted to get away, and so even as Sync tried to keep him in place by pushing back against him and holding down his foot, Guy felt his strength increase due to sheer panic.
He half-stood in the seat and then started to push at Sync's shoulder with both hands, intending to shove him right out of the seat. He realized how bad this would look to anyone watching, especially since Sync looked so young, but hopefully everyone would realize simply by his reaction that he was the one being tormented here.

Like now. Unfortunately, Sync had lost his footing, stumbling forward so that he had to catch himself in the next seat or else he'd end up on the floor. For a moment the God-General scowled when he glanced over over his shoulder, but it was short-lived. He quickly replaced it with an amused smirk, trying to lean back into his new seat like he'd done it all on purpose.
"You can say that, but I can't say I've ever seen him this pushy."

"You two should settle down, someone is going to -"
And Sync finally gave way, almost falling flat on the floor. Oh well, the fun was over. She just sighed, moving back into her seat since she was sure Guy was going to bolt any moment now. Well, she had to speak to Sync anyway, so perhaps it was best that this great moment of amusement had to end so shortly.
... No, even with that kind of thinking, she was still a little disappointment.
"Oh. Perhaps you caught him at a bad time, he seems to be in a hurry." Hopefully, a hurry off the bus so he wouldn't stick around for the rest of the conversation.

The two of them were still trying to talk over him as if they were completely in control, and he knew that he was being patronized, but at this point he didn't care. The moment that he had that opening, Guy moved out of the seat and away from Erika, into the aisle.
Granted, it wasn't like he could go that far without coming across another girl, and at this point his best bet was to retreat to the back of the bus. "You'll see me even more pushy if you keep this up," he snapped at Sync, and without a second's delay he started to move away from the pair and down the aisle.
