It looked like the day was nearing its end, and Anise still had plenty of money to spend. The way the sky darkened well before the end of the trip was a bit unnerving. Did the monsters come out at sundown, or did they come out at a specific time chosen by the institute staff...? Whatever the case was, she supposed she ought to stay on her guard

Anise was just glad that she hadn't lost another friend after all. Last night, she even felt silly for holding out hope for as long as she did... but maybe she actually should have held on to it for longer.
It wasn't a surprise that Natalia asked about Anise's condition in return. She'd been in rough shape the last time the princess saw her. Luckily, Anise was able to give her some good news this time. "I had to take it easy for a little bit, but it's all better now." Shifting her shopping bag to her left hand, Anise rotated her right arm around in a circle to show how well it had healed. "See? No problem!"
And while she was on the topic of healing... "Oh, that reminds me! I was looking to see if they have gels here. The shopkeeper here said he never heard of them, but my description sounded kind of like 'gummies'..." She looked back to the shelf, scanning the labeled bags with her eyes. "Have you ever heard of something like that?"
