Day 56: Doyleton, Late Afternoon

May 16, 2011 00:53

By mid-afternoon, the temperature started to dip. The light diminished as the sun started to set behind the clouds, forcing streetlamps to be turned on an hour ahead of schedule. Some of the businesses took up the required tasks for closing time; however, visiting patients still interested in purchasing were not yet turned away. Late business, after all, was better than no business.

Meanwhile, Aguilar's finest began preparations for the trip home. "Nurses" and "orderlies" moved between the buildings and landmarks, warning patients of their departure time and taking purchases into account. Those near Magus Park might have heard the buses turn on their engines in preparation for the trip back.

With this, the day was drawing to a close.
