It was hard for her to figure out why the room was locked in the first place, now that she was getting a good look at it. It looked like a staff briefing area or something, with a big podium up at the front and a projector. She walked further in, navigating around the chairs to the northern wall, scanning the wider area of the room. When she nearly bumped into a life-size skeleton, though, she realized it might be better to just keep her eyes to the front, and she squeaked a little as she moved around it.
Yeah. The Institute definitely became a little scarier when she was out by herself. She walked around the rest of the room but there wasn't much to look at except the computers. She seated herself at one of the desks and tried to bring up the home screen, but there wasn't much good to it. They were asking her for a password, and she sure didn't have one. She set her bat and flashlight aside for a minute, chewing on her lip and trying to convince herself that she somehow had the skill necessary to access them.
She tried the obvious -- Landel, Aguilar, both of their names backwards, and with various forms of capitalization. None of it did much good, obviously, but she'd at least given it a shot. Pushing the chair back, she grabbed her light and bat and moved out of the room again, back onto the walkway above the sunroom.
