Night 55: Room of Earth

The rumbling got louder as soon as they set foot in the room. Indy hung back by the door for a minute, holding an arm out to keep anyone from rushing ahead until he could get the lay of the land. First he found the exit: a door directly opposite them down the length of the room. The place's shape suggested a giant clay vessel, with red walls curving up to lines of holes at the top. Before he could speculate on what purpose those might serve, two large boulders emerged from the holes and rolled down the slope. The momentum carried them up the curve on the other side and into the corresponding holes. An instant later a different one appeared out of that side.
Watching them crush directly across the path, it wouldn't've taken someone with experience with boulder traps to figure out what the test here was, but Indy was already ahead of the game. "Not again!"
