It didn't take long to reach Dean's room. Sam walked through the usual mini batches of people, some on their way and others apparently having meetings right in the middle. He'd seen it happen enough and it seemed most of them got away with it, but he couldn't help thinking it wasn't the best location to stand and talk.
He rapped his knuckles on Dean's door and called out, "It's me," to make sure he didn't surprise Dean into sending a knife at his face before he pushed open the door-
