[F2. Continued from here.]But not all light was gone from the room, at least not for long. After the corpse-like woman left the intercom, and after her serious-sounding male replacement had finished his warning, a faint golden light faded into existence. It wasn't until the announcements were nearly over that it finally hit Lightning that Tifa had just offered to help her for the night. After two nights of simply going their separate ways... it was a little surprising; the young woman had to hide her reaction and then misgivings as she stood and finished getting ready to go out herself. It wasn't like she could complain though, of course, considering she hadn't had the chance to make any semblance of plans otherwise. That's what being locked up in solitary most of the day and then being too out of it afterward to attempt the bulletin would do.

"That would help," she remarked dryly to the 'purse' comment, really wishing she had her packs with her as she finished tying on a shoe. She reached for her own flashlight, although she didn't yet turn it on- no use, when Tifa's would probably do until they were at least out of their hallway. But unlike Tifa, she also picked up her own radio, remembering the message that had been broadcast before. It wasn't like she couldn't just ditch the thing if it came to needing her hands free anyway. Her flashlight had been replaced, after all.

"So, where are we going, anyway?" she asked with a slight frown, crossing to the doorway. For some reason... she had a bad feeling.

"You know the big hallway by the Sun Room? That's usually where I meet up with my friend, so we'll try there. If he doesn't show up, we'll just find you something lethal on our own," Tifa suggested optimistically as they headed to the door. She wasn't sure what a gunblade was exactly--well, she gathered it was a gun and a blade in one--, but she held little hope that one would just be lying around waiting for a good owner. If nothing acceptable could be found in the institute, Tifa wouldn't mind giving Lightning her ring for the night so the woman could do some shopping in Doyelton.

"Ready?" Tifa asked before quietly opening the door and looking out into the hallway.
