Day 53: Group Therapy Room 1 [Fourth Shift]

Dec 05, 2010 00:22

It wasn't really a group therapy session when there were only two patients, but... well, it wouldn't do to quibble over semantics when she had a job to do, now would it? The nurse examined the papers on her clipboard with lips pursed slightly, re-reading pages that she'd practically committed to memory by now. Despite Dr. Weaver's resignation her patients still needed individual attention and care, and the nurse had volunteered to lead today's session for Michael Kurtz and Maria Medvedeva. They were both relatively well-behaved patients, if not the friendliest, and she noted that they were recent participants in the nightly sleep studies. Hmm, what kind of impact had that had on their progress? That was something that should be evaluated.

She'd set up a pair of chairs for her patients as well as one for herself, arranged as points in a triangle and facing inward, then settled in the one farthest from the door to await their arrival. Really, she was looking forward to this -- it was the first time she'd had the opportunity to interact with the patients here at Landel's in such a fashion, and she was certain it would be an excellent opportunity for all of them.

soma, mello
