Consider this a poll conducted out of curiosity, but how many people here were involved in some sort of law enforcement before being brought here? Attorneys, people in the police force, detectives, private investigators, or whatever else might fit into this category. I've noticed that there are a lot of people here who come out of that field. If ( Read more... )

I've noticed that myself, but I hadn't realized there were so many others would notice it, too. If that's really the case, I wonder if that means there's a higher likelihood of being committed if one is from those fields.

I'm a prosecutor myself, as a matter of fact.

It's starting to seem like that's the case. Which seems counter-intuitive. Is he asking to be caught?

We seem to be the most common type here.

Or maybe it's more productive to keep us all in here. Less people to worry about on the outside. That or he's simply nursing some sort of vendetta against us.

That does seem to be so. From what I've seen, we're also the type to linger longest. I'm not sure whether that should be considered good or bad.

I'm banking on the vendetta. He has to realize that it'd be dangerous to put too many of us in one place.

Are you sure about that? It looks like some have disappeared. [arrow to this note]

[a small mark] I know of them both, yes. Edgeworth is actually the one I was referring to. He may have disappeared, but he is also the only one I've met who's claimed to be here over a month. The other one wasn't a prosecutor and was not around nearly as long. I know of some other defense attorneys who also [another mark] Defense attorneys don't seem to last as long is my point. Even people in general, those I've met in any case, seem to have been here about a week or so only. Close to a month is rare.

I can't guarantee its accuracy, but I conducted a small survey regarding affiliations, ages, length of time spent here, and original locations a week or so ago. I'd be willing to share what results I found with you sometime. If you're interested.

Personally, I've definitely been here for over a week, but I'm not at the one month point yet. It seems odd that there would be a discrepancy between prosecutors and defense attorneys, though. Though I know of two other prosecutors and, as far as I know, both of them are still here.

I might be interested to hear about that sometime, yes. It wouldn't hurt, at the least.
