I knocked out my two hardest finals today, and that's a load off. Political science was fairly easy, which I was expecting. Math wasn't quite as easy, but I still think I did well on it; it definitely felt better than the last math exam I took.
It helped that when I woke up today, I grabbed a pair of jeans that I hadn't worn in over a week, and put them on. As I was stuffing a pencil into my pocket, I felt a little piece of paper, and fished it out. It was a fortune that read, "All of the preparation you've done will finally be paying off!"
Needless to say, that was a good start to my first (and hardest) day of finals.
In regards to the broader perspective, college has been awesome. There's a lot more I could write about at this point, but that's a lot of work, and the smell of burnt popcorn coupled with the shrieking of the fire alarm makes the whole focus thing a little rough. The room is sweet, and so are visits from equally sweet friends. We went to Easton on Saturday, and that was way cool. I read about the flora and fauna of Star Wars for a long time in Barnes n' Noble, and if it was possible for me to get any nerdier, I did. I also found El Hobbit, which was, to say the least, epic.
Our room is overloaded with snack food, purchased in a last-minute frenzy with all of those remaining swipes. We cleaned Buckeye Express out of its supply of Snickers ice cream bars, which are pretty much frozen sex.
I am completely ready for this quarter to end, and completely ready for break. Classes were cool, but I've had about enough of those. Next quarter should be much better, being that my schedule holds to a measure of sanity, and I'm not taking as many number-crunching classes :)
Still no honors english class, though. Yuck.
But, on the plus side, philosophy and Russian literature should be cool. Maybe.
The break will definitely be cool, though. :D
