I swear I didn't die. I'm still here. life is crazy, which is why I haven't made an entry in forever.
everything's going ok. to recap the semester so far, I'm an RA and my hall is insane (they party way too much) but they're really cool kids, so I don't mind. I'm not working this semester because I have rehearsal 3-4 times a week, 4 classes and besides, being an RA is a taxing job already. My classes are getting harder, but at least I'm finally taking classes that have to do with my major. I officially declared on of my majors a couple weeks ago - I had to apply and be accepted to the major. So, right now, I am officially an economics major. I understood econ in high school, but I didn't necessarily like it. Now I do. I know I'm a total nerd, but it's actually interesting to me. My friend Jared is convinced that all one really needs to know is the theory and the graphs aren't important, but I just like them. Omg, I can't believe I just wrote that. Anyways, in the spring, I'll declare my second major, international relations, and then I'll end up with a french minor too.
I'm so excited to go abroad next year. This is the only time in my life that I'll be able to travel the world and not feel like I'm deserting anyone or anything. I've decided to go for the whole year, but now I just have to figure out where to go. At first, I was gonna go to Tours in France for the whole time, but now I'm thinking I might want to spend the first semester. Maybe Switzerland, maybe a french speaking part of Africa. I don't even know. There's so many places that I can go. It's exciting to think about.
Moving on to other news. My cousin is giving birth in December. I'm still completely shocked by this. I think the second I see her body, which used to be a model's body, I'm gonna feel really really old. I mean, she's 4 months younger than me. And she's going to be a mother. She's gonna be a good mother, I just know it.
The best part is I'll be home for her baby shower. It's official. I'm coming home for thanksgiving. I will be home saturday, November 19 around 7:30 pm, and her showerr is the next day in sacramento. I'll be home for a week, and I don't know how I'm going to handle the next 4 weeks of waiting.
Ok, that's all for now. I need to do my french work and its already 10 pm. I really should learn to start my work earlier.
