Amusing myself...
Why is it that I always only post when I am feeling depressed or some crap like that? When I have had a bad week. Well, this one has been bad. My grandma has been back in the hospital since last Wednesday. Although they say she is doing better, which she is (she is off the respirator), there is still a strong chance she may not survive for much longer (her 89th birthday is on October 11th). To top it all off, lots of work deadlines going on and new product launches going on in the next week or so. Joy. Ecstacy. Bliss. But at least the new 2005 models of the vehicles on our websites will FINALLY go live on Monday. Only a month late. Although they have been sitting on my hard drive for, oh, a month now.
Anyways, to destress, I found a few funny things that could be passed along. The first is a cartoon by Tycho and Gabe, the creators of the gamer-friendly Penny Arcade web comic. They were almost sued for it, and when you see the content of this lovely poster you may see why.
Then my friend Jill sent me another link, one to a particularly funny song. There are some other funny links on that site but I can't find a direct link to it. To view what I think is the funniest, at the bottom of the previous link, are a series of boxes as links. Go to the Heavy link on the far left. Choose the option for "G.I.Hoe and the Teenages Who Love Him" and choose the one on the far left with the picture of He-Man and Lion-O from Thundercats. Severely messed up but funny.
