We ran all over God's creation today. I am absolutely exhausted. But, it was a brilliant day and the kids had an awesome Christmas. I did too for that matter. Mitchell got me a fancy schmancy heart rate monitor and a blender and the most unbelievably romantic card and letter. That letter was absolutely my favorite gift. I definitely cried and there was probably swooning. He rocks.
My MIL got a brand spanking new computer (her first ever) and we also got her DSL. We hooked her up on IM and now all night it keeps popping up telling me she is on line. Oh, have I mentioned that her name is Mary Sue? It keeps saying "Mary Sue is now online" Cracks me up every single time.
The best presents I got this year (besides the card) were both Harry Potter related. Of course. Most people don't buy me HP stuff because they think I already have it or don't need more HP stuff. How wrong they are. Mert got me the prophecy from the Noble Collection. It is amazing and beautiful and I am still wibbling about the perfect place to put it. And comically, my MIL got me Harry Potter Clue, even though she kept asking my SIL if she was sure I would like it. I squealed like a 12 year old, so yes, I liked it. I thought it was so awesome she would get me something like that. Our other gift from them was a new dishwasher. ; ) So, from the practical side of the spectrum, to the utterly frivolous. You know you are offically old when people buy you a dishwasher and you are excited about it.
So, Merry Christmas to all. I hope it was wonderful and I hope we all have an even more blessed year ahead of us.
