what my philosophy lecturer is like
i have this really amusing philosophy lecturer who is a reverend, and who is one of the most cynical people i have ever met. he's constantly saying things that just don't fit into my picture of what a fat old reverend professor should be like. here's the latest:
"there are three reasons why someone might say something that's false. firstly, he might be uneducated. secondly, he might be dumb, and finally, he could be lying. if he's ignorant, you can teach him. if he's stupid, you can try to explain it to him in simpler terms. and if he's recalcitrant, you can kill him."
ooookaaaaay...
anyway, i'm sure you're all delighted to hear about my wonderful lecturer. i'm going to go sleep now and try to not be so sick by the time i have to go to sarah's. speaking of which, i have no idea whether we're being fed there, or what i should wear, or anything...
